Alternative Energy Questions:
Whats a cheep but safe alternative to heating a single wide trailer?
My mother lives in a single wide trailer, but now that shes getting a divorce and shes only living on one income, im not sure she can afford the heating oil on her own. Vermont's already getting pretty cold. Im thinking energy efficient electric?
A pellet stove would be great but the initial cost for it or any other alternative heating system is going to be pretty high. If she already has an oil heater in the trailer, the cheapest solution would be to buy oil. A couple of electric heaters for local heating, like in a bathroom, would let her keep the main heater set low.
