Seems to me that the next mega-rich dynasty will come from someone who invents an alternative energy device that everyone in the world needs.
Nah, we already have electric motors which are ~90% efficient. The money is in energy storage now. If EEStor manages to successfully make an ultracapacitor battery that gives an electric car a 250 mile range with 80 mph top speed as they've claimed, they're the next Microsoft.
