Project for business class questions, please help!?
i am doing a project for my business class where you have to invent something and market it. we invented a solar-powered tv that floats in your pool(kinda stupid but whatever). we have to figure out the costs for some things, like:
How much would a business permit cost?
How much would making the actual product cost? its basically a solar powered tv with a plexiglass covering surrounding it, on a floaty.
How much would it cost to have a 60-second commercial advertising our product cost, if we wanted to have it at the same time as popular kids' cartoons?
How much would the machines cost to make the product?
How much would it cost to rent the building used for production?
i would really appreciate some answers!!!!
Business permit $40.
Construction cost for one tv. $90 if you buy the parts in bulk.
If you advertise late at night on cable tv... $800 for one night - 4 ads.
$2,500 during a popular show.
You could not afford the machines. They must be built to specifications. You would have to build them by hand until you made a profit. But the machines would be $70,000.
Rent on an industrial building is 50ยข per square foot. So a big 2,000 sq ft building costs $1,000 a month.
