Science experiment help!?

My science group bought a renewable energy kit. We have done all of the experiments in the handbook, we were wondering if we could do any other experiments like power a light or charge a phone

here is the link to the kit we bought..

Thanks!

Looks like a lot of fun!! You can get a lot more mileage from it, however, by taking it apart a bit so that you have a pair of live wires sticking out that you can hook up to anything you want. With a simple multi-tester you can determine the parameters of the current generated for different light conditions and wind speeds. Then, with a few diodes and resisters you can make simple electric circuits to power things like a battery charger, an array of LED lights (which take hardly any juice to power up....it would be cool to calculate the net efficiency of entire process - all you'd need is a light meter and a calculator. You could compare sunlight to incandescent to LED to neon lights, and using a spectrometer you could do rough calculations to tell you the various efficiencies of the solar cells at converting different wavelengths of light to electricity. For more exact calculations you could use color filters. There are tons of fun things you could do!!!!
